In the last 10 years, kids and teens experiencing major anxiety and depression disorders has skyrocketed.
The CDC reports that 1 in 10 kids and teens are currently experiencing anxiety and/or depression. Most of those are also have behavioral disorders.
Suicide in teens is at all time high and still climbing.

Every time we try to do something to help our family, to help our kids, it seems like our children are fighting us on it. It is exhausting and overwhelming. We can't seem to win.

I was that parent -- I wanted to be a great parent. I wanted the best for my children. So I tried to raise them the way my parents raised me. The way I thought was the "right way" to parent.
But it wasn't working. I was really struggling.
So I tried harder. And the harder I tried, the more my kids rebelled against my parenting. Which caused me to tighten the reins. I spent so much time punishing and trying to catch them doing wrong things instead of connecting, enjoying, and loving...our relationships were getting worse and worse.
Then, as if by chance, something amazing happened...I discovered strengths-based parenting and it changed EVERYTHING!
I finally understood how to replace the frustration I was feeling for them with fascination and wonder. I saw I could parent my children in a way that gave me empathy and perspective. I could fill our home with compassion and love instead of conflict and anger.
With my wonderful wife, Analyn, we began the best journey of our lives. We started learning how to parent to our unique strengths and the strengths of our children. We watched and paid attention to our kids with a positive lens.
But we didn’t stop there. We invested in their natural strengths. We tried to bring out the best in them. We learned how to parent our children with positivity and joy instead of negativity and weakness.
Bottom line: In the end we were able to connect with our children and bring love and compassion into our relationships.
Strengths-based parenting healed my family. It healed me. It healed us.
Which is why Analyn and I decided to share strengths-based parenting with the world.
First we wrote the book "Play to Their Strengths" and it caught on like wildflower. People everywhere were asking for more.
And now we are training Incredible Coaches across the world to bring out the best in children, teens, and parents.
And one family at a time, we are changing the world. And so can you!
